* The industry & trade ministry (MDIC) has reported that Brazil registered a trade surplus of US$36.22bn in the first six months of the year. Based on these results, MDIC has revised its trade balance projection for the year and now expects that Brazil will post a US$60bn trade surplus rather than a US$55bn surplus by the end of the 2017.
