Strengthening security ties with Brazil

Last month Bolivia’s interior minister Carlos Romero met his Brazilian counterpart Omar Serraglio in Brazil’s federal capital Brasília as part of efforts to consolidate plans aimed at strengthening border control in the fight against criminal gangs – singling out in particular Brazil’s Primer Comando Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (Comando Rojo-CV). This is the latest sign of continued security cooperation between the two countries.
