Chile-Bolivia: Contraband controversy raises tensions

A diplomatic spat between Bolivia and Chile over contraband smuggling has damaged bilateral relations which will deteriorate further if the current frontrunner in Chile’s presidential race, former president Sebastián Piñera (2010-2014), of the right-wing coalition Chile Vamos, triumphs in November’s elections.
