* Brazil could have its first deflation in 11 years, according to a bulletin from Brazil’s central bank (BCB). Economic analysts predict that Brazil’s consumer price index (IPCA) could fall by 0.07% by the end of the month. However, BCB’s president Ilan Goldfajn said the disinflation would be a temporarily oscillation and would not impact their monetary policy.
