Mexico forced to deny spying on journalists

Development: On 19 June, Daniel Millán, the director of foreign media at Mexico’s presidency, sent a letter to the New York Times (NYT) categorically rejecting the recent allegations made by the US media outlet that the Mexican government had been actively spying Mexican journalists and local human rights and anti-corruption activists with electronic devices.
