Development: On 14 June, Argentina’s former president (2007-2015) and the leader of the Frente para Victoria (FPV, Kirchneristas) faction of the main opposition Partido Justicialista (PJ, Peronists) party, Cristina Fernández, announced the creation of a new political movement which will field its own candidates independently from the PJ in the upcoming midterm legislative elections due in October.
