Costa Rica: Local taxi driver unions have announced plans to protest the decision by Costa Rica’s public services regulatory authority (Aresep) and the public transportation council (CTP) not to block Uber, the internet-based transport company, from operating in the country. The government agencies maintain that they lack the authority to block the app.
