JAMAICA: Fourth year of growth amid rising tourism

The Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) says that the country has now experienced four consecutive fiscal years of growth, that is from April-March. The outturn for 2016/17 was an estimated 1.1% growth. Looking ahead, the PIOJ is forecasting growth of between 2% and 3% for FY2017/18.
