Argentina: The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has announced that following the 17 May approval of its Council, Argentina is now set to become a full member of its Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). Argentina’s admission into the NEA is seen as another step towards securing membership of the OECD, which is currently under consideration after the government led by President Mauricio Macri submitted a formal application to join the group in 2015.
