Peru: Chile’s supreme court has broadened extradition charges against Peru’s jailed former president, Alberto Fujimori (1990-2000), to include illicit association and homicide. The ruling means that Fujimori, who was extradited to Peru in 2007 on charges of corruption and crimes against humanity and has been sentenced to 25-years imprisonment, can now be tried in Peru for these new charges.
