Chile: President Michelle Bachelet met with China’s President Xi Jinping; Prime Minister Li Keqiang; and the president of China's National Assembly, Zhang Dejian during a visit to China (Chile’s main trade partner) aimed at boosting bilateral trade. President Bachelet’s visit follows that to Indonesia where on 12 May the two governments signed two agreements - a Memorandum of Understanding on Visa Waiver for Diplomatic and Official Passports and a Joint Statement that seeks to commit both countries to decide on negotiations for the Chile-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Cepa).
