Argentina: Speaking at a LatinFinance’s 3rd CumbreFinanciera, Argentina’s treasury minister, Nicolás Dujovne, argued that domestic economic activity was improving and predicted significant GDP growth in the second half of this year. The chief adviser to the treasury ministry, Guido Sandleris, said that GDP growth in March was 1.7% month-on-month, in advance of the release of official results by the national statistics institute (Indec) on 23 May.
