Argentina: The tax authority (Afip) reports that the tax take for April was Ar$187.94bn (US$10.19bn), a 24.6% increase compared to the tax take registered in the same month of last year. According to the Afip, the April tax take brings the accumulated tax take for the year to Ar$783.87bn (US$50.57bn), a significant 33.8% year-on-year increase, which suggests that the year-end tax take figure could set a new record.
