In brief: Venezuela, Peru

Venezuela: The national assembly (AN) has released its latest inflation figures showing that this was running at 65.5% in the first quarter, after prices increased by 16.12% in February. The inflation data compiled by the opposition-controlled AN is considered a good benchmark measure as the central bank (BCV) has stopped releasing official inflation data since 2015.
