Brazil’s central bank (BCB) has lowered its GDP forecast for 2017, but inflation is due to improve. According to forecasts in the BCB’s weekly bulletin, Brazil’s economy will grow 0.41% this year (down from 0.47%) and inflation will be 4.09% (down from 4.10%).
