Legal confusion reigns in Venezuela

Development: On 2 April, the president of Venezuela’s national assembly (AN), Julio Borges, said that the opposition-controlled AN would seek to remove the seven supreme court (TSJ) justices who last week controversially assigned themselves parliamentary competencies, before backtracking under pressure from the executive led by President Nicolás Maduro.
