In brief: Brazil’s vehicle sales rise in March

*Brazil’s national federation of automobile dealers (Fenabrave) has released its figures for vehicle sales in March, which show a total of 379,383 units sold. This marks a 5.36% increase from February and a 5.75% rise from March 2024. In monthly terms, the category that saw the greatest rise in sales was light commercial vehicles, with 42,507 units sold (+8.88%), while the category with the greatest monthly drop was buses, registering 2,230 units sold (-6.11%). Sales for light commercial vehicles also saw a significant year-on-year increase of 11.61%. The category that posted the greatest decline in sales from March last year was trucks, with 9,200 units sold (-5.01%).
