*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has released its latest global indicator of economic activity (IGAE), highlighting modest growth in the country’s economic activity. In November, economic activity rose by 0.4% compared to the previous month. Activities in the secondary (manufacturing) sector increased by 0.1% and in the tertiary (services) sector by 0.5%. Meanwhile, activities in the primary (agriculture) sector saw a decline of 1.4%. In annual terms, the IGAE recorded an increase of 0.9%: primary activities grew by 1.1% and the tertiary sector expanded by 2.0% while secondary activities dropped by 0.9%.
