*The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended its ban on civil aviation flights into Haiti until 12 March 2025. The FAA first announced the ban on 12 November for 30 days following gang attacks targeting aircraft from US-based airlines JetBlue, Spirit Airlines, and American Airlines. The FAA’s announcement comes the day after Haiti’s aviation authorities announced that Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince would reopen to commercial flights.
