The 2nd European Union (EU)-Caribbean Global Gateway Conference on Sargassum was held from 1-2 October in St George’s, the capital of Grenada. The theme of the conference was “Turning the tide: sustainable practices and economic opportunities for sargassum in the Caribbean basin”. The goal is to turn the sargassum threat into an economic opportunity.
