BRAZIL: Lower house president stalls bill to pardon far-right rioters
On 29 October the president of Brazil’s lower chamber of congress, Arthur Lira, announced the creation of a special committee to review a bill that proposes amnesty for convicted far-right rioters who stormed the seats of government in Brasília on 8 January 2023.
