COSTA RICA: Authorities hail arrest of alleged top drug trafficker
On 17 September Costa Rican authorities announced the arrest of 11 people, including Alexi Meléndez León, a naturalised Costa Rican, born in Colombia, with alleged links to Clan del Golfo, Colombia’s largest drug trafficking organisation (DTO).
