HAITI: Top US envoy to UN visits Port-au-Prince
On 22 July Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US ambassador to the United Nations (UN), paid a visit to Haiti where she announced US$60m in additional humanitarian assistance via the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and met with Haiti’s transitional presidential council (TPC) and interim Prime Minister Garry Conille, among others.
