*Mexico’s President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum has announced her choices for an additional three ministries: labour (STPS), tourism, and culture. She has named the current STPS minister Marath Baruch Bolaños to continue in his post, while Josefina Rodríguez Zamora who has served as tourism secretary for the state of Tlaxcala since 2021, picks up tourism. Sheinbaum also confirmed that Claudia Curiel de Icaza, who has been serving as culture secretary for Mexico City (CDMX) since February 2022, would be her culture minister. This is her fifth round of cabinet announcements (having last week unveiled Lázaro Cárdenas Batel as her chief of staff).
