COSTA RICA: Chaves revisits open-pit gold mining project
On 18 July Costa Rica’s national daily Nación reported that President Rodrigo Chaves had met with five legislative groups to discuss the future of the Crucitas open-pit gold mine in San Carlos, Alajuela province, near the border with Nicaragua.
