*Argentina’s economy ministry has registered a budget surplus of Ar$238.19bn (US$258m) in June, while the primary surplus stood at Ar$488.57bn. In a social media post, the government led by far-right President Javier Milei said that this was the first time since 2008 that the government had registered six consecutive months of budget surpluses.
