MEXICO: Business group criticises plan to elect judges
On 15 July Mexico’s influential business lobby group Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex) announced that it is working on proposals to minimise risks to new investment arising from the government’s proposed reform of the judiciary, which includes the direct election of judges.
