*Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has announced that 350,700 international tourists visited the country in May (not including those who don't stay overnight) – a drop of 27.5% compared with the same month in 2023. Of those, 54.1% arrived by air, while 35.9% arrived overland and 9.9% by boat. The main source country for tourists was Brazil (26.0%), followed by Uruguay (14.8%) and Chile (13.1%).
