Mexico’s government led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has completed another swift extradition of a priority target to the US, drawing warm praise from the administration of President Joe Biden. The target in question is Néstor Isidro Pérez Salas ‘El Nini’, an alleged top sicario or assassin for the Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa drug trafficking organisation (DTO), whom Mexican security forces arrested in September [WR-23-48].
