*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that 112,048 light vehicles were sold in the domestic market in April, up 14.79% on April 2023. In the first four months of 2024, 461,800 light vehicles were sold in the domestic market, up 11.89% on the same period in 2023. According to the same report, 358,575 light vehicles were produced in April 2024, up 21.74% on April 2023, while in the first four months of 2024, 1.29m light vehicles were produced, up 5.72% on the same period in 2023. As regards exports, 289,756 light vehicles were exported in April 2024, up 14.38% on April 2023, while in the first four months of 2024, 1.12m light vehicles were exported, up 12.15% on the same period in 2023.
