The new US administration led by President Donald Trump continues to send largely negative signals on Cuba. However, given some apparent disorder inside the White House and difficulties for the new administration in congress and elsewhere, as well as concerns about deep cuts to the State Department, it is unlikely that Cuba features high on the list of immediate policy priorities.
