Development: On 18 January Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto said that he was personally “hurt” by the shooting registered at a secondary school in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León state, earlier that day which left one person dead and five seriously wounded, and that all Mexicans should now work together to ensure that another such tragedy “never happens again”.
