Brazil’s landless movement leader detained

Development: On 17 December, Brazilian police took the leader of the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Teto (MTST) landless workers’ movement, Guilherme Boulos, into custody after he fought to defend squatters’ rights at a favela (slum) in the city of São Paulo.
