Peru presidential race remains close despite a rallying of the anti-fujimori vote

Development: On 25 May the Red por la Democracia group of Peruvian political figures urged the electorate to turn their backs on Keiko Fujimori, the populist right-wing candidate of the Fuerza Popular (FP) party and instead vote in favour of her centre-right opponent, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski of the centrist Peruanos por el Kambio (PPK) party, in the upcoming 5 June presidential run-off election.
