Uruguay’s Ancap leadership resigns en masse

Development: On 4 February the leadership of Uruguay’s state-owned energy firm, Administración Nacional de Combustibles, Alcoholes y Portland (Ancap), resigned, one month after the ruling left-wing Frente Amplio (FA) coalition used its narrow majority in congress to approve a massive US$872m recapitalisation of the debt-ridden firm.
