Development: On 30 June Guatemala’s constitutional court (CC) president, Gloria Porras, announced that the CC had rejected an appeal by President Otto Pérez Molina on 26 June against the supreme court (CSJ)’s 10 June ruling which authorised the national congress to decide whether to strip Pérez Molina of his immunity from prosecution to face corruption investigations.
