DR slams Corte-IDH ruling

Development: On 23 October the Dominican Republic (DR)’s government led by President Danilo Medina rejected a ruling handed down by the Costa Rican-based Inter-American court of human rights (Corte-IDH) condemning the DR for various human rights violations relating to the deportation of Haitian nationals and Dominicans of Haitian descent that took place between 1999-2000.
