Paraguay: ‘Narcopolitics’ accusations begin to fly

Development: On 22 October the head of Paraguay's senate’s anti-drugs trafficking commission, Senator Roberto Acevedo of the opposition Partido Liberal Radical Auténtico (PLRA), claimed to have been informed by the national anti-drugs agency (Senad) that various national legislators are suspected of having links with local drug trafficking groups.
